If it is Monday…

And if it’s Monday, oh, that means Sunday is over?! But when was it? I closed my eyes on Saturday evening and the next thing I know, it was already Monday when I opened them! I don’t understand why, by the end of the week, the days were made significantly shorter? If there wasn’t enough material for one more day, why they insisted on doing it? Did it mean only to complicate the calendar? Or had it been a norm to be finished? We already had a day starting with an “S,” why need another one? They should have done a regular Friday, plus a proper Saturday, and that’s it. Get rid of Sunday! No, they had decided to take out a piece from Friday (and they chipped away the best part of Friday, the evening!) and one piece of Saturday to improvise a Sunday! And instead of enjoying a regular weekend, two whole days and a half, we have hardly one day and a half. Thank God they kept a full Monday !? If they would have chip Monday away instead of Sunday, do you think the employers would have died? Would productivity decline? No way! Let us see. On Tuesday, when you would have come back to work after a short Monday, the graphics would increase like hell! Now, on Tuesday, everybody is tired after a long and heavy Monday, and they would recover somehow but not earlier than Wednesday!
Do you know how I would have done it? I would have done a six-regular-day week, with a weekend starting from Thursday afternoon. And would I have hours-leftovers I have them added to Saturday! It is not a bad idea!
